To pay an employee by direct deposit you can either post a payroll from the employee's wages payable (see instructions here) or from the Payroll Wizard (see instructions here) by selecting 'Direct Deposit' for the payment type.
From the 'Banking' module click on 'Direct Deposit Wizard'.
- Select the date that the desired direct deposit payrolls were posted (this will be the same as the 'Payment Date' entered when processing the payrolls) and click 'Apply Filter'.
- Select the desired employee payroll(s) to include in the direct deposit file.
- Click 'Next'.
- Select the desired employee payroll(s) again.
- Click 'Complete'.
- Download the direct deposit file by clicking on the download link in Step 3 of the Direct Deposit Wizard.
